Eligibility
Any woman who is an owner or legal partner of a business and who is active in the day-to-day operation of that business is eligible for membership. Women who work on commission and submit a Schedule C to the IRS also qualify. When you apply for membership, it is pending until your business status is confirmed.

Benefits
There are numerous benefits to AWBO membership. In addition to the free monthly programs, as an AWBO member you will receive a monthly email newsletter and your name and business listed in the online membership directory. Contact information and a description of your business, as well as your photo and an email link, are included in your membership fee; a web link can be added for an additional fee. Visitors to our site can search by name and business category to contact members.

Opportunities
As a member, you are invited to distribute information about your business at monthly meetings. You may schedule a 3-minute “business spotlight“ at a meeting to present information about your business. You are also encouraged to submit business news for publication in the monthly newsletter. And there is always the opportunity to network with a group of successful women business owners that are as excited about your business success as they are their own.
