Eligibility

Any woman who is an owner or legal partner of a business and who is active in the day-to-day operation of that business is eligible for membership. Women who work on commission and submit a Schedule C to the IRS also qualify.

Benefits

There are numerous benefits to AWBO membership. In addition to the free monthly programs, as an AWBO member you will receive a monthly newsletter, accessed at this web site, and a membership directory listing each member as well their contact information and a description of their business. Your name and business information are listed on the member page of this site, and for a small additional fee your web site can be linked to your listing.

Opportunities

As a member, you are invited to distribute information about your business at monthly meetings. You may schedule a 3-minute “business spotlight“ at a meeting to present information about your business. You are also encouraged to submit business news for publication in the monthly newsletter. And there is always the opportunity to network with a group of successful women business owners that are as excited about your business success as they are their own.
