    Copyedited camera-ready pages of reference books: Historical Dictionary of the United Kingdom, Volume 2 and the Historical Dictionary of North American Environmentalism.  University Press of America/Rowman & Littlefield.
  • Writing
    Wrote book proposal for reading teacher resource book series for kindergarten teacher. Represented author to publisher through contract negotiations.  Bridge to Home series released in spring 2001.
    Wrote self-test questions for 10th-grade World History: The Human Experience. Glencoe/McGraw-Hill School Publishing.
    Wrote GED social studies practice exercises.

    Wrote TV commercial scripts and coordinated production for local restaurant and bed & breakfast.

    Developed and produced text/study guide for 12th-grade Magruder’s American Government Prentice Hall.

    A Bloom Ink team wrote, edited, designed, illustrated, and paged this 192-page perfect-bound text/study guide. Bloom Ink sent disks in Quark Xpress to Prentice Hall's production department, ready for approval and printer output to film.

Advance Scheduling

Please make arrangements with Carol Bloom, President, no fewer than 5 workdays before startup to adequately schedule your assignment.

Rush Jobs

Bloom Ink has no minimum charge, but rush jobs that require putting aside other clients’ work are charged at 150 percent of the standard rate and same-day turnaround at 200 percent the standard rate.

Payment

Payment is expected 15 days from date of invoice unless other plans have been made at launch. An interest rate of 1.5 percent is charged on all accounts that pay later than 30 days from date of invoice.
