Association
of Women Business Owners is a supportive network of women business
owners dedicated to providing relationship building, mentoring,
encouragement and resources.
Vision
To
be an organization providing an environment to develop and
empower women business owners today and tomorrow.
Success
Today,
AWBO enjoys the membership of over 100 women business owners.
We meet monthly for programs, networking, exchanging information
and supporting one another. And still today, AWBO is the
only organization in Lafayette that is exclusively for women
business owners.
Eligibility
Any
woman who is an owner or legal partner of a business and
who is active in the day-to-day operation of that business
is eligible for membership. Women who work on commission and
submit a Schedule C to the IRS also qualify. When you apply
for membership, it is pending until your business status is
confirmed.
