Tippecanoe County CASA , Court Appointed Special Advocates, is a volunteer program that trains volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system. Coleen Hamrick will visit AWBO on July 14 to tell us more about the program.

Vision

Women business owners in the Greater Lafayette area established our association in 1982. The early objectives were to meet to share ideas, offer support and network with other women business owners.

Mission

Our mission is to give women an opportunity to concentrate on the managing and planning of their business as a respite from "doing business.” Our programs help members build knowledge and skills as business owners.

Success

Today, AWBO enjoys the membership of over 100 women business owners. We meet monthly for programs, networking, exchanging information and supporting one another. And still today, AWBO is the only organization in Lafayette that is exclusively for women business owners.
